Allergies are Spreading

The air inside your car can be almost 4x more polluted than the air outside*:

Fresh air
< 1.500
particles/cm3

Air in urban zones
10.000 - 20.000
particles/cm3

In Traffic
> 60.000
particles/cm3

Inside your car during rush hour
> 90.000
particles/cm3

More than 40% of Europeans suffer from chronic allergic diseases and that number is increasing**.
The allergy season in Europe can be quite long (as early as February to October) and pollution levels around the world are rising. Fine particles are particularly harmful since they can enter deep into the lungs. Some sources of such emissions are exhaust gas and brake dust that can amount to 110.000 metric tons/year almost half of that are distilled in the air. ***

That is why Cabin3Tech+ is the right choice for you. It combines the best in cabin filtration technology for your protection! It efficiently filters large particles (like a pollen filter), neutralize odours and hazardous fumes in the air (as an activated carbon filter) and stops up to 98.8% of fine particles as small as 2.5 microns.

How can the cabin of the vehicle be so polluted?

There are various causes - the cabin is a closed space not so often aerated, not all drivers vacuum clean (aiding the accumulation of pollutants), cabin filter is old/used, and the media cannot contain pollutants.

Cabin3Tech+, has three layers of protection which progressively remove contaminants

Protection vs Pollen - synthetic media provides the 1st barrier against large particles – removing some of the main sources of airborne allergens: pollen particles, dust and mould spores.

Protection vs harmful gases – air pollutants can increase our sensibility to airborne allergens, so the layer of activated carbon provides the next protective barrier absorbing harmful gases in the air (such as Sulphur Dioxide and toluene) and odours.

The last protective layer uses an electrostatic media backing that protects the driver and passengers from smaller particles such as PM2.5. The filter removes up to 98.8% of fine particles as small as 2.5 microns (such as break dust and exhaust gas).

What is PM2.5?

It is one of the parameters used to measure air quality - these are airborne fine particulate matter that are 2.5 microns in size (20x smaller in diameter in comparison to human hair). These fine particles can travel deeply into the respiratory tract and cause irritation. They are known to trigger and worsen chronic diseases such as asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory problems.

Cabin3Tech+ introduces 56 filters that cover over 150 million cars all over Europe! Including multiple brands such as Peugeot, DS, Toyota, Renault, Fiat, Volkswagen, and many more!

Q&A
All ranges of cabin filters cannot be washed (it does not completely wash away all particles and compromises media - rips, etc).
It is recommended once every 15.000 km or at least once a year.
Depends on the car manufacturer, the two most common areas are under the hood of the car or on the dashboard in front of the front passenger.
They filter the air that circulates within AC system and in the cabin of the vehicle. Pollen filters remove particles of pollen and dust. Carbon filters combine pollen filtration and absorbance of chemicals and odours. Cabin3tech+ combines carbon and pollen technology and filters 98.8% of particles 20x smaller than human hair.
There are two benefits of changing your cabin filter – 1) it ensures the proper circulation of air into the cabin of the vehicle (preventing fogging) and 2) protects the driver and passengers from particles present in the air (dust, pollen, road debris, etc) as well as absorbs hazardous chemicals and odours.
